FIRST REGULAR SESSION HOUSE BILL NO. 103RD GENERAL ASSEMBLY INTRODUCED BY REPRESENTATIVE KNIGHT. 1847H.01I JOSEPHENGLER,ChiefClerk Torepealsection620.2020,RSMo,andtoenactinlieuthereofonenewsectionrelatingtothe Missouri works program sunset, with a penalty provision. Section A. Section 620.2020, RSMo, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 620.2020, to read as follows: 620.2020. 1. The department shall respond to a written request, by or on behalf of a qualified company or qualified military project, for a proposed benefit award under the provisions of this program within five business days of receipt of such request. The department shall respond to a written request, by or on behalf of a qualified manufacturing company, for a proposed benefit award under the provisions of this program within fifteen business days of receipt of such request. Such response shall contain either a proposal of benefitsfor thequalified company orqualified militaryproject, ora written responserefusing to provide such a proposal and stating the reasons for such refusal. A qualified company or qualified military project that intends to seek benefits under the program shall submit to the department a notice of intent. The department shall respond within thirty days to a notice of intent with an approval or a rejection, provided that the department may withhold approval or provide a contingent approval until it is satisfied that proper documentation of eligibility has …
