Missouri HB845: Creates provisions relating to specialty hospitals

To amend chapter 192, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to specialty hospitals. Section A. Chapter 192, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 192.2521, to read as follows: 192.2521. A specialty hospital is exempt from the provisions of sections 192.2520 and197.135ifsuchhospitalhasapolicyforthetransferofavictimofasexualassaultto an appropriate hospital with an emergency department. As used in this section, "specialty hospital" means a hospital that has been designated by the department of health and senior services as something other than a ge.
