FIRST REGULAR SESSION HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 103RD GENERAL ASSEMBLY INTRODUCED BY REPRESENTATIVE WOLFIN. 2159H.01I JOSEPHENGLER,ChiefClerk Relating to a constitutional convention. BeitenactedbytheGeneralAssemblyofthestateofMissouri,asfollows: WHEREAS, Article XII, Section 3(a) of the Constitution of Missouri provides that the question of whether the people desire a constitutional convention shall appear on the general election ballot every twenty years; and WHEREAS, Article XII, Section 3(a) also provides that the general assembly by law may also cause the question of whether the people desire a constitutional convention to appear on the general election ballot at times other than every twenty years; and WHEREAS, the general assembly finds that a constitutional convention is necessary and desires to exercise its right to place the question of a constitutional convention on the ballot: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the members of the House of Representatives of the One Hundred Third General Assembly, First Regular Session, the Senate concurring therein, hereby direct the Secretary of State to place the question, "Shall there be a convention to revise and amend the constitution?" on the November 3, 2026, general election ballot; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be sent to the Governor for his approval or rejection pursuant to the Missouri Constitution. ✔
