A BILL FOR AN ACT PROVIDING AN APPROPRIATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND A TERMINATION DATE." WHEREAS, the State of Montana is committed to expanding international trade opportunities that support economic growth, job creation, and innovation across the state; and WHEREAS, Israel is a strategic global partner and a recognized leader in sectors such as agriculture, water technology, cybersecurity, photonics, optics, quantum computing, defense, energy, and biotechnology, which are industries that align closely with Montana's economic strengths and development goals; and WHEREAS, establishing a Montana trade office in Israel will create a direct and sustained presence to promote bilateral trade, attract foreign investment, and facilitate business partnerships in areas of mutual interest; and WHEREAS, a dedicated trade office will strengthen Montana's ability to market its goods and services abroad, support Montana companies in accessing new markets, and foster collaboration in research, technology, and innovation; and WHEREAS, enhancing economic cooperation between Montana and Israel through a formal trade office will contribute to long-term economic growth and global competitiveness for Montana's economy. - 1 - Authorized Print Version - HB **** 69th Legislature 2025 HB 950.1 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA: NEW SECTION.
