AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE DANNY L. RADISH HIGHWAY IN LINCOLN COUNTY; DIRECTING THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO INSTALL SIGNS AT THE LOCATION AND TO INCLUDE THE HIGHWAY ON THE NEXT PUBLICATION OF THE STATE HIGHWAY MAP; AND PROVIDING AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Master Gunnery Sergeant Danny L. Radish was born on June 8, 1949, in Minot, North Dakota; and WHEREAS, Master Gunnery Sergeant Danny L. Radish served in the United States Marine Corps with distinction; and WHEREAS, Master Gunnery Sergeant Danny L. Radish received the Silver Star for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action while serving with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron Two Hundred SixtyTwo, Marine Aircraft Group Sixteen, First Marine Aircraft Wing, in connection with combat operations on February 12, 1970, in the Republic of Vietnam; and WHEREAS, Master Gunnery Sergeant Danny L. Radish received the Navy and Marine Corps Medal for heroism while serving as crew chief aboard a CH-46E helicopter on the morning of November 15, 1982; and WHEREAS, the Enlisted Aircrewman of the Year Award was established in honor of Master Gunnery Sergeant Danny L. Radish for the most outstanding contribution by a Marine enlisted aircrewman and is awarded annually; and WHEREAS, Master Gunnery Sergeant Danny L.
