AM297 AM297 LB677 LB677 AJC - 02/26/2025 AJC - 02/26/2025 AMENDMENTS TO LB677 Introduced by Hansen, 16. 1. Strike the original sections and insert the following new sections: Section 1. Section 1, Initiative Law 2024, No. 438, is amended to read: Section 1. Sections 1 to 5 6 of this act and sections 2 to 81, to 107, and 109 to 198 of this act shall be known and may be cited as the Nebraska Medical Cannabis Regulation Act. Sec. 2. For purposes of the Nebraska Medical Cannabis Regulation Act, the definitions found in sections 3 to 65 of this act apply. Sec. 3. (1) Additive means any non-cannabis derived substance added to cannabis to achieve a specific technical or functional purpose during processing, storage, or packaging. (2) Additives may be direct or indirect. Direct additives are used to impart specific technological or functional qualities. Indirect additives are not intentionally added but may be present in trace amounts as a result of processing, packaging, shipping, or storage. (3) Botanically derived compounds which have been isolated or enriched and subsequently added back into cannabis products are additives. Sec. 4. (1) Advertising means the act of providing consideration for the publication, dissemination, solicitation, or circulation of visual, oral, or written communication to directly induce any person to patronize a particular licensee or …
