One Hundred Ninth Legislature - Second Session - 2026 Introducer's Statement of Intent LB964 Chairperson: Senator Rita Sanders Committee: Government, Military and Veterans Affairs The following constitutes the reasons for this bill and the purposes which are sought to be accomplished thereby: LB964 establishes that a political subdivision shall hold a public hearing prior to, any sale or lease of real property owned by the political subdivision, or any purchase of real property by the political subdivision.
