An Act concerning school buses and amending P.L.1965, c.119. Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey: 1. Section 2 of P.L. 1965, c.119 (C.39:3B-2) is amended to read as follows: 2. a. There shall be displayed on every bus subject to the provisions of section 1 of P.L.1965, c.119 (C.39:3B-1) signs or legends [which] [ADDED: that] will, insofar as practicable, inform the driver of any vehicle concerning the duty imposed upon [him] [ADDED: the driver] by law with respect to passing a bus [,] while it is loading or unloading. The signs or legends shall be in a color, form, and design [as will meet] [ADDED: that meets] the requirements prescribed by the State Board of Education, which requirements shall [not] be [inconsistent] [ADDED: consistent] with the provisions of this Title [or] [ADDED: and] any rule or regulation made pursuant thereto. b. An agency, board of education, nonpublic school, or school bus contractor operating a school bus [subject to the provisions of section 1 of P.L.1965, c.119 (C.39:3B-1)] [ADDED: , as defined in R.S.39:1-1, including those school buses used to transport students with disabilities,] shall display across the rear of the school bus a telephone number, [ADDED: Internet] website address, [ADDED: school bus identification number,] [or] [ADDED: and any] other identifying information …
