An Act concerning HVACR contractor and subcontractor licensing and amending and supplementing P.L.2007, c.211 and amending P.L.1999, c.238. Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey: 1. (New section) As used in sections 1 through 9 of P.L. , c. (C. ) (pending before the Legislature as this bill): Board means the State Board of Examiners of Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractors. Covered HVACR work means contracting work in heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration as defined in section 2 of P.L.2007, c.211 (C.45:16A-2), and shall include the assembly, furnishing, installation, alteration, maintenance, repair, replacement, or servicing of: (1) piping, refrigerant piping, hydronic piping, fittings, valves, supports, hangers, and other components used for the conveyance, distribution, circulation, supply, return, or control of refrigerants, water, steam, condensate, or other fluids used as part of a heating, ventilating, air conditioning, or refrigeration system; and (2) ductwork, plenums, dampers, louvers, air-intake components, exhaust components, air-distribution components, fittings, supports, hangers, curbs, and other sheet metal or mechanical components used for the movement, distribution, supply, return, intake, exhaust, ventilation, treatment, or control of air as part of a heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration, air movement, air distribution, exhaust, intake, or plenum system. Master HVACR contractors license means a current and valid license issued by the board …
