AN ACT to amend chapter 683 of the laws of 2023 amending the environmental conservation law relating to an urban deer management pilot program, in relation to the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 6 of chapter 683 of the laws of 2023 amending the environmental conservation law relating to an urban deer management pilot program, is amended to read as follows: § 6. This act shall take effect on the first of January next succeeding the date on which it shall have become a law and shall expire and be deemed repealed [three] SIX years after such date. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD13478-01-5
