AN ACT to amend chapter 108 of the laws of 2016, amending the vehicle and traffic law relating to authorizing a pilot residential parking permit system in the city of Buffalo, in relation to permanently authorizing such provisions THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 108 of the laws of 2016, amending the vehicle and traffic law relating to authorizing a pilot residential parking permit system in the city of Buffalo, as amended by chapter 368 of the laws of 2021, is amended to read as follows: § 3. This act shall take effect immediately [and shall expire December 31, 2026 when upon such date the provisions of this act shall be deemed repealed]. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD15270-04-6
