Assembly Resolution No. 1173 BY: M. of A. Barclay CONGRATULATING the Oswego Sub Shop upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the 2025 New York State Family-Owned Business of the Year Award by the New York Small Business Development Center WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and commend those distinguished businesses within the State of New York whose success and longevity strengthen their communities and serve as an example of entrepreneurial excellence; and WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to congratulate the Oswego Sub Shop upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the 2025 New York State Family-Owned Business of the Year Award by the New York Small Business Development Center; and WHEREAS, This prestigious honor, conferred in August of 2025, recognizes the Oswego Sub Shop's outstanding achievements as a family-owned business, as well as its enduring commitment to quality, service, and community engagement; and WHEREAS, Established in 1969 by the Greene family, the Oswego Sub Shop has remained a cornerstone of the Oswego community for 57 years, guided by its founding principle of serving quality food by using high quality, fresh ingredients; and WHEREAS, Through decades of operation, the Oswego Sub Shop has demonstrated remarkable resilience, thriving …
