Senate Resolution No. 2334 BY: Senator O'MARA CONGRATULATING Madison Tuttle upon the occasion of winning the racewalking national championship title at the 2026 Adidas Indoor Track Nationals WHEREAS, Individual and team championships are highly sought after in high school sports; this Legislative Body commends rare athletic achievements and pays special recognition to those who pursue such excellence and become examples for the youth of this great Empire State; and WHEREAS, Athletic competition helps to enhance both the moral and physical development of young athletes, preparing them for the future by instilling in them the importance of teamwork, encouraging a standard of healthy living, and developing a sense of fair play and competition; and WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to congratulate Madison Tuttle of Watkins Glen, New York, upon the occasion of winning the racewalking national championship title at the 2026 Adidas Indoor Track Nationals on Sunday, March 22, 2026, in Virginia Beach, Virginia; and WHEREAS, To the praise and applause of her excited fans, Madison Tuttle beat her competitors with a time of 8:39.24 to capture the championship; and WHEREAS, The 2026 racewalking national championship title is Madison Tuttle's second national championship title, having initially won in 2024, only one year after discovering the sport; and WHEREAS, Family, friends, and the community at large loyally and enthusiastically supported …
