to amend Section 381.400 of H.B. 96 of the 136th General Assembly regarding cost of attendance at institutions of higher education. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That section 3333.0421 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows: Sec. 3333.0421. (A) As used in this section: (1) "Institution of higher education" means either of the following: (a) A private college, as defined in section 3365.01 of the Revised Code; (b) A state institution of higher education, as defined in section 3345.011 of the Revised Code. (2) "Ohio resident" means a resident of this state under rules adopted under section 3333.31 of the Revised Code. (B) Annually, each institution of higher education shall report to the chancellor, in a form and manner prescribed by the chancellor, the cost of attendance for an Ohio resident who is enrolled as an undergraduate student in the institution in that academic year. (C) Annually, the chancellor shall post both of the following on a web page on the chancellor's public web site: (1) The definition of "cost of attendance" prescribed in 20 U.S.C. 1087ll; (2) Each cost of attendance reported by an institution of higher education under this section.
