As Adopted by the House 136th General Assembly Regular Session H. R. No. 413 2025-2026 Representative Mullins ARESOLUTION Honoring the Miami University men's basketball team as the 2026 Mid-American Conference regular-season champion. WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Miami University men's basketball team on winning the 2026 Mid-American Conference regular-season championship; and WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the Miami University men's basketball team have combined talent and spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish themselves as truly exceptional competitors. With admirable dedication, the RedHawks have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in basketball, and as a result, they compiled perfect 18-0 Mid-American Conference and 31-0 overall regular-season records, qualified for the prestigious NCAA Tournament, and finished the season with an impressive 32-2 record; and WHEREAS, The RedHawks' achievements and leadership are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the players, their families, their school, the Miami community, and their coaches.
