As Adopted by the House 136th General Assembly Regular Session H. R. No. 510 2025-2026 Representative Oelslager ARESOLUTION Honoring the Lake Center Christian School baseball team as the 2026 Division VI State Champion. WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Lake Center Christian School baseball team on winning the 2026 Division VI State Championship; and WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the Lake Center Christian School baseball team have combined talent and spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish themselves as truly exceptional competitors. With admirable dedication, the Tigers have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in baseball, and as a result, they defeated a tough Hiland team by the score of 2-1 to win this year's Division VI State Championship and finished the season with an impressive 25-4-1 record; and WHEREAS, The Tigers' achievements and leadership are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the players, their families, their school, their community, and their coach, Shane Byler. In leading his team to victory, Coach Byler has not only helped the athletes to develop their talents to the fullest but also instilled in them a valuable sense of determination, perseverance, and camaraderie; and WHEREAS, With athletic competition …
