As Adopted by the Senate 136th General Assembly Regular Session S. R. No. 429 2025-2026 Senator Schaffer ARESOLUTION Honoring Wendel's Diamond Jewelers on its One Hundred Twentieth Anniversary. WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Wendel's Diamond Jewelers on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundred Twentieth Anniversary; and WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to Wendel's Diamond Jewelers, for throughout the past twelve decades, it has attained a remarkable record of service to the Lancaster area. Founded by Albert Wendel in 1906, the store has been operated by the Palestrant family since 1988, and it has become well known for the quality of its merchandise; and WHEREAS, The success of Wendel's Diamond Jewelers is a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the business itself but also on its astute management and hard‐working employees. Due to their vision and initiative, this respected institution has earned the gratitude and appreciation of many satisfied customers, and it is truly deserving of high praise; and WHEREAS, Over the years, Wendel's Diamond Jewelers has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area.
