As Adopted by the House 136th General Assembly Regular Session H. R. No. 519 2025-2026 Representatives Rogers, Grim, White, E. ARESOLUTION Honoring the Toledo Junior Celtics rugby team as the 2026 Rugby Ohio Division 2 State Champion. WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Toledo Junior Celtics rugby team on winning the 2026 Rugby Ohio Division 2 State Championship; and WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the Toledo Junior Celtics rugby team have combined talent and spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish themselves as truly exceptional competitors. With admirable dedication, the players have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in their sport, and as a result, they defeated a tough St. Charles squad by the score of 33-28 to secure this year's Rugby Ohio Division 2 State Championship title; and WHEREAS, The Toledo Junior Celtics rugby team's achievements and leadership are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the players, their families, their community, and their coaches.
