No. 436 2025-2026 Senator Craig Cosponsors: Senators McColley, Antonio, Blackshear, Blessing, Brenner, Chavez, Cirino, Cutrona, DeMora, Gavarone, Hicks-Hudson, Huffman, Ingram, Johnson, Koehler, Landis, Lang, Liston, Manchester, O'Brien, Patton, Reineke, Reynolds, Roegner, Romanchuk, Schaffer, Smith, Timken, Weinstein, Wilkin, Wilson ARESOLUTION In memory of I. Ray Miller. WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of I. Ray Miller on the sorrowful occasion of his death; and WHEREAS, Ray Miller left an indelible impression on the people whose lives he touched, and he will be remembered as a spirited individual who contributed immeasurably to the world around him. Widely renowned for his distinguished career in public service, he served as an intern for Ohio Representative Dick Celeste before being elected to the Ohio House of Representatives himself, a post he held for sixteen years, and the Ohio Senate, where he served eight years and held the office of minority leader. In addition, he was instrumental in the passage of many historic pieces of legislation, including the Community Mental Health Act of 1988, and in the establishment of the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services, and he was the founder of the Ohio Commission on …
