As Adopted by the House 136th General Assembly Regular Session H. R. No. 552 2025-2026 Representative Moore ARESOLUTION Honoring Fierbaugh Farm on its Bicentennial. WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Fierbaugh Farm on the celebration of its Two Hundredth Anniversary, October 17, 2026; and WHEREAS, Recognition of this milestone is, indeed, a fitting tribute to Fierbaugh Farm, for throughout the past two centuries, it has made many invaluable contributions to the surrounding area. Since its establishment in 1826, this family-owned agricultural operation has enjoyed great success in raising sheep and hosting seasonal events, and this anniversary is a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the homestead, on its owners, and on the Bowerston community as a whole; and WHEREAS, Those who have nurtured, directed, and sustained Fierbaugh Farm merit praise for their remarkable initiative, diligence, and resolve. With a wealth of vision and vitality, they have shown how very much can be accomplished by a group of conscientious, industrious people, and they can be proud that their unflagging commitment to agriculture has made it possible for the farm to flourish; and WHEREAS, On this milestone, we praise Fierbaugh Farm for enhancing the quality of farming throughout Bowerston.
