No. 453 2025-2026 Senator McColley Cosponsors: Senators Antonio, Blackshear, Blessing, Brenner, Chavez, Cirino, Craig, Cutrona, DeMora, Gavarone, Hicks-Hudson, Huffman, Ingram, Johnson, Koehler, Landis, Lang, Liston, Manchester, O'Brien, Patton, Reineke, Reynolds, Roegner, Romanchuk, Schaffer, Smith, Timken, Weinstein, Wilkin, Wilson ARESOLUTION Honoring Mary Jo Harris for outstanding service to the State of Ohio. WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Mary Jo Harris on the occasion of her retirement from the Ohio Senate staff; and WHEREAS, Mary Jo Harris is a remarkable individual, for she has combined civic concern and dedication with selfless initiative to become a dynamic member of the Ohio Senate staff. Commencing her tenure in 1992 as the secretary for Senator Richard H. Finan, she advanced to serve as the executive assistant to the Senate President from 1997 to 2017, when she was named the Rules and Reference Clerk, and she has brought the full measure of her enthusiasm, intelligence, and public spirit to her duties; and WHEREAS, Over the past thirty-four years, Mary Jo Harris has given generously of her time, energy, and abilities to assist the Ohio Senate and has demonstrated a praiseworthy commitment to the success of state government.
