An Act relating to schools; creating the President Donald J. Trump Physical Fitness Act; providing short title; directing the State Department of Education to establish certain guidelines to administer certain physical fitness test; directing guidelines to be based on certain recommendations; providing for contents of guidelines; requiring school districts to administer certain test after certain guidelines have been established; directing school districts to use student performance results in certain manner; providing for promulgation of rules; providing for noncodification; providing for codification; and providing an effective date. SUBJECT: Physical fitness test SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows: This act shall be known and may be cited as the "President Donald J. Trump Physical Fitness Act". SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 11-103.9c of Title 70, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: A. The State Department of Education shall establish guidelines for school districts in this state to assess the overall fitness of students and encourage physical activity and healthy habits by administering the Presidential Fitness Test.
