An Act relating to professions and occupations; amending 59 O.S. 2021, Section 475.3, as last amended by Section 11, Chapter 147, O.S.L. 2024 (59 O.S. Supp. 2025, Section 475.3), which relates to the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors; extending sunset date; updating statutory language; providing an effective date; and declaring an emergency. SUBJECT: State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2021, Section 475.3, as last amended by Section 11, Chapter 147, O.S.L. 2024 (59 O.S. Supp. 2025, Section 475.3), is amended to read as follows: Section 475.3. A. The State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors is hereby re-created, to continue until July 1, 2026 July 1, 2031, in accordance with the provisions of the Oklahoma Sunset Law, whose duty it shall be to administer the provisions of this act. The Board shall consist of four professional engineers and two professional surveyors, at least one of whom is shall not be a professional engineer, all of whom shall be appointed by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Oklahoma State Senate. The Governor shall also appoint one lay member. The professional engineers and professional surveyors shall have the qualifications required by this act. B.
