PRINTER'S NO. 4048 THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF PENNSYLVANIA HOUSE BILL No. Session of INTRODUCED BY BARGER, VEROBISH, ANDERSON, PUGH, STAATS AND GILLEN, OCTOBER 15, 2026 REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION, OCTOBER 16, 2026 Designating a bridge, identified as Bridge Key 70551, carrying State Route 3013 over Blair Gap Run in Allegheny Township, Blair County, as the Lt. Col. Palmer Brown Memorial Bridge. The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows: Section 1. Lt. Col. Palmer Brown Memorial Bridge. (a) Findings.--The General Assembly finds and declares as follows: (1) Palmer Brown was born June 24, 1937, in Duncansville, Pennsylvania. (2) Lt. Col. Brown was a 1955 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. (3) Outside of work, Lt. Col. Brown enjoyed spending time with family and was an ordained Southern Baptist minister who was instrumental in starting and building churches in Pearl City, Hawaii, and the Pumpkin Hill section of Laurel, Maryland. (4) Lt. Col. Brown also served as a Blair Township Supervisor, was active in his church and an advisor to the Cross Team Ministries in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania. (5) Lt. Col. Brown served a 35-year career with the United States Marine Corps, rising from the rank of private to lieutenant colonel when he retired in 1990. (6) Lt. Col.
