A RESOLUTION Noting with sadness the death of the Honorable Frank J. Pistella, III, a distinguished former member of the House of Representatives from Allegheny County. WHEREAS, The House of Representatives honors the memory of Frank J. Pistella, who died June 20, 2025, at 74 years of age; and WHEREAS, The House of Representatives commends Mr. Pistella's leadership and service to the House and the General Assembly from the Session of 1979-1980 through the Session of 2005-2006; and WHEREAS, A resident of the East End neighborhoods of Garfield and Bloomfield, Mr. Pistella faithfully represented the 21st District, comprising the City of Pittsburgh and neighboring suburbs; and WHEREAS, Mr. Pistella was a member of the Irish Caucus, the Italian-American Caucus and the History Caucus; and WHEREAS, Mr. Pistella was appointed to the Pennsylvania Intra-Governmental Council on Long-Term Care, the Local Government Commission and the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee; and WHEREAS, Born April 22, 1951, a son of Rita B. Kineavy Pistella and Frank J.
