ABDOUL KARIM DIALLO, DIRECTOR GENERAL, SONOCO GROUP. W hereas, Mr. Abdoul Karim Diallo is an industrial pioneer who has reshaped the West African landscape by transforming a family-founded enterprise into a powerhouse conglomerate. After joining Sonoco in 2009, he pursued a hands-on path, mastering every facet of the industrial chain, from port logistics to metallurgy. His Harvard-trained strategic vision has allowed the Sonoco Group to evolve into a diverse engine of growth across multiple sectors; and W hereas, his most notable achievement is the 2019 US $25 million financing agreement with the IFC (World Bank), which modernized Guinean food processing and grain storage.
