W hereas, the Honorable Sheku Ahmed Fantamadi Bangura, Minister of Finance for the Republic of Sierra Leone, is a seasoned economist and technocrat with three decades of experience at the intersection of public policy and global development; and W hereas, having served as a senior advisor at the World Bank Group, Minister Bangura brings an international perspective to Sierra Leone's fiscal management. His leadership is particularly noted for his resilience and technical prowess, notably during his tenure as Deputy Minister of Finance during the national COVID-19 response; and W hereas, as the Minister of Finance, he has been a steady hand during periods of extreme economic volatility.
