A house RESOLUTION TO RECOGNIZE IRMO INSURANCE AGENCY AT THE CELEBRATION OF ITS FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF SERVICE IN SOUTH CAROLINA AND TO CONGRATULATE THE COMPANY ON A HALF-CENTURY OF SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS ENDEAVORS IN THIS GREAT STATE. W hereas, the South Carolina House of Representatives is pleased to learn that the Irmo Insurance Agency is celebrating the business's half-century mark in 2026; and W hereas, the agency was founded on September 14, 1976, by Robin McIntyre Moseley with the advice and encouragement of Reaves H. Gasque and Leslie W. Clemmons. Robin's husband, Charles Robert "Bob" Moseley, left a nineteen-year career in banking to join her at the agency in 1979. Although the elder Moseleys are retired now, their founding influence is still felt in the leadership of their son, Scott Moseley, who joined the agency in 1992 and currently serves as agency president; and W hereas, Bob and Robin conceived the idea of starting an independent insurance agency through the experience of Robin's mother, who worked with the Gasque-Clemmons Agency in Marion; and W hereas, after five …
