An Act to extend each waterfowl hunting season for veterans and active duty personnel. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota: Section 1. That a NEW SECTION be added to chapter 41-6: [ADDED: The Game, Fish and Parks Commission shall promulgate rules, in accordance with chapter 1-26, to extend by two days, each waterfowl hunting season, for the exclusive use of:] [ADDED: (1) Individuals who are on active duty in the armed forces of the United States, as defined in § 58-33-117; and] [ADDED: (2) Individuals who have served in the armed forces of the United States and were discharged therefrom under conditions other than dishonorable.] [ADDED: Nothing in this section affects any licensure or permit requirements, daily and possession limits, or any other applicable statutory or regulatory requirements.] Underscores indicate new language. [DELETED: Overstrikes] indicate deleted language.
