A RESOLUTION to commend and congratulate the Mt. Juliet Christian Academy Cheer Team, 2026 GameTime Division 1A National Champions. WHEREAS, the members of this General Assembly are pleased to specially honor and commend those successful high school athletic teams that, through their magnificent exploits, bring honor to Tennessee and serve as exceptional ambassadors of this State; and WHEREAS, the Mt. Juliet Christian Academy Cheer Team is one such group of young athletes, which recently claimed the 2026 GameTime Division 1A National Championship in Raleigh, North Carolina; and WHEREAS, in addition to their national title, members of the Mt. Juliet Christian Academy cheer team placed first in several categories and were awarded Best Choreography honors; and WHEREAS, the Mt. Juliet Christian Academy cheerleaders were fortunate to have the invaluable, devoted guidance of Kenzi Hambrick, a Lebanon native and Mt. Juliet High School graduate, who has served as head coach since 2017, leading the team to unprecedented heights and instilling in her team the values of resilience and faith; and WHEREAS, displaying great sportsmanship and outstanding character throughout the season, the members of the Mt. Juliet Christian Academy cheer team have conducted themselves in a manner appropriate to the integrity of the State of Tennessee; and WHEREAS, the perseverance, determination, work ethic, and talent of these young athletes not only made possible …
