A RESOLUTION to honor and recognize Joshua Whitt, 2026 Salutatorian of Lancaster Christian Academy. WHEREAS, it is only fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to pay tribute to those students in our state who, through their own natural abilities and unwavering pursuit of academic excellence, have distinguished themselves in the classroom; and WHEREAS, Joshua Whitt is one such individual, who has been named Salutatorian of the 2026 graduating class at Lancaster Christian Academy; and WHEREAS, through dedication to his studies, careful recollection of vast amounts of data, composure through his examinations, and his steadfast commitment of time and talent, Mr. Whitt has achieved a remarkable academic feat and joined the ranks of the brightest and most notable students in the State of Tennessee and the nation; and WHEREAS, in his educational career, Mr. Whitt has maintained an exemplary grade point average while participating in a number of extracurricular clubs and activities, including playing on the Lancaster Christian Academy (LCA) Basketball Team, acting as part of the SERVE class, and working on the LCA Bible Class's community service project; and WHEREAS, Mr. Whitt has earned the prestigious honor of "Mr. Basketball"; and WHEREAS, his intellectual aptitude and ambition most certainly bode well for his future endeavors; and WHEREAS, Mr. Whitt's noteworthy achievement is a tremendous source of …
