A RESOLUTION to congratulate the members of Team Leroy of Greeneville on winning the Tennessee State USBC Open. WHEREAS, it is fitting that this General Assembly should salute those bowlers who, through their extraordinary efforts, have distinguished themselves as true champions of whom we can all be proud; and WHEREAS, one such exemplary group of bowlers is Team Leroy of Greeneville, whose members have proven themselves to be the fiercest of competitors and truly worthy of admiration by winning the Tennessee State USBC Open; and WHEREAS, named in honor of their longtime friend, Leroy Key, who passed away in August 2025, Team Leroy, comprised of Clifford Doughty, David Painter, Mike Swatzell, Johnny Painter, and Leroy Key's son, Cameron Key, dedicated this season to their namesake, who was the heart and soul of their team; and WHEREAS, taking to the lanes of the Smyrna Bowling Center, Team Leroy tallied a team score of 3,430, ranking them first out of 475 teams in the team handicap event; and WHEREAS, the members of this General Assembly find it appropriate to acknowledge and applaud Team Leroy for their outstanding success on the lanes; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we congratulate Team Leroy of …
