A RESOLUTION to honor and congratulate Sylvia Liszewski upon being named to the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas All-Conference Second Team. WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should recognize and commend those successful student athletes who, through their magnificent exploits, bring honor to Tennessee and serve as exceptional ambassadors of this State; and WHEREAS, Sylvia Liszewski of Tusculum University is one such estimable individual, an athlete of extraordinary talent, skill, and dedication, who has proven herself a formidable competitor on the beach volleyball court; and WHEREAS, in recognition of her athletic excellence, Sylvia Liszewski was recently named to the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas All-Conference Second Team after enjoying an outstanding season with the Tusculum University Pioneers; and WHEREAS, competing alongside her teammate Brynn Smith, Ms. Liszewski helped lead her team through a demanding schedule, contributing to multiple conference victories and demonstrating consistency, determination, and teamwork throughout the season; and WHEREAS, Sylvia Liszewski epitomizes all that is good in today's student athletes, as she has achieved a high level of success in sports while evincing great character both on and off the court; and WHEREAS, Ms. Liszewski's notable achievement is a source of great pride for her family, her school, and the State of Tennessee, and it is appropriate that we recognize this accomplished athlete; now, therefore, …
