AN ACT relating to the designation of a portion of State Highway 345 in San Benito as the Lieutenant Milton Resendez Memorial Highway. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, is amended by adding Section 225.246 to read as follows: [ADDED: Sec.][ADDED: ][ADDED: 225.246.][ADDED: ][ADDED: ][ADDED: LIEUTENANT MILTON RESENDEZ MEMORIAL HIGHWAY. ] [ADDED: (a) ][ADDED: ][ADDED: The portion of State Highway 345 in the municipal limits of San ] [ADDED: Benito is designated as the Lieutenant Milton Resendez Memorial ] [ADDED: Highway.] [ADDED: (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall:] [ADDED: (1)][ADDED: ][ADDED: ][ADDED: design and construct markers indicating the ] [ADDED: designation as the Lieutenant Milton Resendez Memorial Highway and ] [ and] [ADDED: (2)][ADDED: ][ADDED: ][ADDED: erect a marker at each end of the highway and at ] [ADDED: appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.] SECTION 2.
