89(R) HR 960 - Enrolled version - Bill Text H.R. No. 960 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Imari Reynolds has ably served her fellow Texans as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative Gene Wu during the 89th Legislative Session; and WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Reynolds has shared her valuable knowledge with the House Criminal Jurisprudence Committee and earned the appreciation of her colleagues for her commitment, fierce advocacy, and sense of humor; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and WHEREAS, Ms. Reynolds plans to graduate in May 2026 from the Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she is vice president of the Black Law Students Association and president of the Civil Rights Law Society; she is an alumna of the University of California, Santa Cruz and has studied at the University of the West Indies at Cave Hill, Barbados, the University of Ghana, and the University of the Western Cape; while attending UCSC, she was recognized as the 2017 Cowell College Student Leader of the Year and was president of the Black Student Union and the university's chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority; over the years, she has served as a …
