2026 SPECIAL SESSION I HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 2030 Commending Navy Federal Credit Union. Agreed to by the House of Delegates, April 23, 2026 WHEREAS, for 20 years, Navy Federal Credit Union has proudly served the communities of Frederick County and Winchester; and WHEREAS, founded in 1933 and headquartered in Vienna, Navy Federal Credit Union has grown into the world's largest credit union by remaining true to its mission of service, integrity, and community; and WHEREAS, since its opening in 2006, Navy Federal Credit Union's corporate campus in Winchester has been a trusted partner in the Frederick County and Winchester communities, strengthening families, supporting local organizations, and contributing to the area's economic vitality through sustained investment and service; and WHEREAS, as a member-owned, nonprofit credit union, Navy Federal Credit Union serves active duty and reserve service members, veterans, Department of War personnel, and their families, giving its customers access to secure and dependable financial services that are essential to their financial readiness and peace of mind; and WHEREAS, Navy Federal Credit Union and its team members at the Winchester corporate campus have demonstrated a strong commitment to community service by contributing significant volunteer hours, financial support, and in-kind resources; through these efforts, they have supported schools, nonprofits, and community partners across the region, creating a lasting and meaningful impact; and WHEREAS, …
