SENATE RESOLUTION BySenators Braun, Alvarado, Bateman, Boehnke, Chapman, Christian, Cleveland, Conway, Cortes, Dhingra, Dozier, Fortunato, Frame, Gildon, Goehner, Hansen, Harris, Hasegawa, Holy, Hunt, Kauffman, King, Krishnadasan, Liias, Lovelett, Lovick, MacEwen, McCune, Muzzall, Nobles, Orwall, Pedersen, Riccelli, Robinson, Saldaña, Salomon, Schoesler, Shewmake, Short, Slatter, Stanford, Torres, Trudeau, Valdez, Wagoner, Warnick, Wellman, C. Wilson, and J. Wilson WHEREAS, Senator Judy Warnick has devoted nearly two decades to exemplary service in the Washington State Legislature, first elected to the House of Representatives in 2007 and later to the Senate in 2015; and WHEREAS, She quickly demonstrated her leadership and ability to guide and inspire her colleagues, serving first as Vice Chair of the Senate Republican Caucus beginning in 2017 and later assuming the role of Chair in 2021, while faithfully representing the constituents of the 13th Legislative District as a model of civic advocacy; and WHEREAS, Throughout her legislative career, Senator Warnick has been widely recognized for her stewardship of agriculture and natural resource policy, assuming the chairmanship of the Senate Agriculture, Water & Rural Economic Development Committee upon entering the Senate in 2015 and championing the interests of farmers, ranchers, small business owners, and families who form the backbone of Washington's agricultural economy, bringing rural voices to Olympia; and WHEREAS, Having grown up on a dairy farm and later operating a small …
