SENATE RESOLUTION 53 (By Senator Charnock) [Introduced February 26, 2026] Congratulating the George Washington High School Cheerleading team on earning third place in the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Division II National High School Cheerleading Championship. Whereas, On December 6, 2025, the George Washington High School Cheerleading team traveled to Sevierville, Tennessee, to compete in the UCA Smoky Mountain Championship with their "Traditional" routine. The team placed first as the Regional Division winner and earned an additional bid for the UCA Division II National High School Cheerleading Championship in the "Traditional" Division; and Whereas, The UCA Division II National High School Cheerleading Championship was held January 30 through February 1, 2026, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.
