ENROLLED ORIGINAL D.C. ACT 26-329 IN THE COUNCIL OF THEDISTRICTOF COLUMBIA MAY 29, 2026 To symbolically designate 15th Street, NE, between Jackson Street, NE, and Kearny Street, NE, as Ralph J. Bunche Way. BEIT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA,Thatthis act may be cited as the "Ralph J. Bunche Way Designation Actof2026". Sec. 2. Pursuant to sections 401, 403a, and 423ofthe Streetand Alley Closing and Acquisition Procedures Act of 1982, effective March 10, 1983 (D.C. Law4-201; D.C. Official Code §§ 9-204.01, 9-204.03a, and 9-204.23), the Council symbolically designates 15thStreet, NE, between Jackson Street,NE, and Kearny Street,NE,as"RalphJ. Bunche Way". Sec. 3. Fiscal impact statement. 'The Council adopts the fiscal impact statement in thecommittee reportasthe fiscal impact statementrequired by section 4aof the General Legislative Procedures Act of 1975, approved October 16, 2006 (120 Stat. 2038; D.C. Official Code § 1-301.47a). Sec. 4. Effective date. This act shall take effect following approval by the Mayor(or in the eventofveto by the Mayor, action by the Council to override theveto) anda 30-day period ofcongressional review ENROLLED ORIGINAL. as provided in section 602(c)(1) ofthe District ofColumbia Home Rule Act, approved December 24, 1973 (87 Stat. 813; D.C.
