ENROLLED ORIGINAL D.C. ACT 26-411 IN THECOUNCIL OFTHE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AUGUST 13, 2026 'To amendChapter28 ofTitle 47ofthe District ofColumbia Official Code to establish licensing standards and certification requirements forglazierand glazingcontractors, and to add 2 'members representing glaziers and glazing contractorsto the BoardofIndustrial Trades. BE ITENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OFTHE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, Thatthis act may be cited as the "Glazier Licensing Standards and Certification Amendment Act of. 2026". Sec. 2. Subchapter I-BofChapter 28ofTitle 47ofthe DistrictofColumbiaOfficial Code is amended as follows: (@) The tableof contents is amendedby adding a new designation forpart F-ii toread as follows: "Part Fil. "Glazier Licensing and Certification. "47-2853.100. Definitions. ""47-2853.100a. Eligibility requirements; AGMT certification. "47-2853.100b, Representations and advertising. "47-2853.100c. Temporary license. "47-2853.100d, Fees; rules.". (b) Section47-2853.04(a) is amended by adding newparagraphs (18A) and (18B) to read as "(18B) Glazing contractor; (©) Seotion 47-2853.06(d) is amended as follows: (1) Strike the phrase "consisting of 15 members," and insert thephrase "consisting of 17 members," in its place. (2) Strike thephrase "and one shall be a consumermember" and insertthe phrase "one shall bea glazier licensed in the District, one shall bea glazing contractor licensed in the District, and one shall be aconsumer member" in its place.
