Chapter 39 of Title 28ofthe District ofColumbiaOfficial Code is amended as follows: (a)The tableofcontents is amended by adding new section designations to read as summary suspension; summary closure. (b) Anew section 28-3904ais added to read as follows: " § 28-3904a, Special price information standard forbroadband services complying with federal rules. "Amerchantprovidingbroadband intemet access who complies with thebroadband consumer label requirements of47 C.ER. § 8.1 as those requirements existed onJanuary 1, 2026, shall be deemed compliant with therequirementsof § 28-3904(a)(12).". Sec. 3. Applicability. Thisact shall apply as ofthe effective dateofthe Enhancing ConsumerProtection Procedures AmendmentAct of2026, effective September 26, 2026(D.C. Law26-187; 73 DCR 9162). Sec, 4, Fiscal impact statement. ENROLLED ORIGINAL. The Council adopts the fiscal impact statementofthe Budget Director as the fiscal impact statement required by section 4aofthe General Legislative Procedures Actof 1975, approved October 16, 2006 (120 Stat. 2038; D.C.
