BE IT ENACTED BYTHE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OFCOLUMBIA, That this act maybe cited as the "Net Zero Continuity Congressional Review Emergency Amendment Act of2026", Sec. 2. TheGreenBuildingActof2006, effectiveMarch 8, 2007 (D.C. Law 16-234; D.C, Official Code § 6-1451.01 efseq.), is amended as follows: (@) Section 2 (D.C. Official Code § 6-1451.01) is amended as follows: (1) Paragraph (1) is amendedto read as follows: "(1) "Addition" shallhave themeaning ascribed to itinthe BuildingCodes.". (2) The existingparagraph (2A) isredesignated asparagraph (2B). (3) A newparagraph (2A) is added toread as follows: (A) "Aquatic center" means a structure intendedforswimming orrecreational bathingthatcontains waterover24 inches deep andincludes thepool, decks, and surrounding stracture, lockerrooms, electrical andmechanical rooms, andIT controls thatsupportthepool." (4) A new paragraph(3A) is added toread as follows: "@A) "Building Codes" means theportionsofthe Construction Codes designated as the Building Code, the EnergyConservation Code, and the ExistingBuildingCode.".
