119 S1674 IS: Mammoth Cave National Park Boundary Adjustment Act of 2025 II 119th CONGRESS 1st Session S. 1674 IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES May 8, 2025 Mr. McConnell introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources To modify the boundary of the Mammoth Cave National Park in the State of Kentucky, and for other purposes. SECTION 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Mammoth Cave National Park Boundary Adjustment Act of 2025 . SECTION 2. Mammoth Cave National Park boundary modification Section 11 of the Act of June 5, 1942 (56 Stat. 319, chapter 341; 16 U.S.C. 404c-11 ), is amended-- (1) in the second paragraph, by inserting (adjusted for inflation in accordance with the Consumer Price Index published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the Department of Labor) after $350,000 ; and (2) by inserting after the second paragraph the following: The Secretary of the Interior may acquire the approximately 551.14 acres of land and any interests in land generally depicted as Proposed Addition on the map entitled Mammoth Cave National Park Proposed Southern Boundary Expansion Edmonson and Barren Counties, Kentucky , numbered 135/177,967, and dated May 2025 for inclusion in the Mammoth Cave National Park. .
