IV 119th CONGRESS 2d Session H. RES. 1636 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES October 22, 2026 Mr. Blair submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on House Administration RESOLUTION Establishing a management system for constituent casework files in the House of Representatives. SECTION 1. Short title This resolution may be cited as the Constituent Casework Continuity Resolution . SECTION 2. Establishment of case management system for constituent casework (a) Establishment The Chief Administrative Officer shall establish a case management system for records of casework with respect to constituents, which shall be known as the House Constituent Casework System or House CCS . (b) Appointment of designated staff employee Each Member shall designate an employee in the personal office of the Member to carry out the responsibilities of the constituent casework archivist for the Member under this section. (c) Requirement To contribute to House Constituent Casework System Not less than 1 week after a Member receives a request for assistance from a constituent, the constituent casework archivist for the Member shall submit a record of the request to the House CCS. (d) Contents The record for a request to a Member for assistance from a constituent referred to in subsection (c) shall include the following: (1) Contact information for the constituent. (2) Subject to the amount of information …
