    What does the connector do?

    It gives Claude read access to Delilah's legislative record: bills, votes, legislators, committees, hearings, sessions and the 2026 elections, for all 50 states, D.C. and Congress.

    Do I need an account or an API key?

    No. The hosted server has a shared, rate-limited free tier. A Delilah API key gives you your own monthly cap; ask for one at delilahusa.com/support.

    Do I need a paid Claude plan?

    No. Custom connectors work on every Claude plan. The Free plan allows one custom connector, so Delilah can be it. On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds the connector for the whole organization, and members connect to it under Customize → Connectors.

    What data is in it?

    More than 280,000 bills with status, sponsors, history and full text; every recorded roll call with each member’s position; 21,000+ legislators; committees and hearings; and the 2026 races, candidates and ballot measures, across 52 jurisdictions.

    Is it read-only?

    Yes. Every tool reads. The one tool that can write (webhooks) refuses unless you confirm explicitly.

    How fresh is the data?

    Updated continuously from each legislature’s official source. Every bill carries the state URL it came from, so you can check it yourself.

    Does it work on my phone?

    Yes. Connect once on claude.ai and it follows your account into the Claude apps.

    Try in Claude opened Claude without my question. Why?

    If you have installed claude.ai as an app in Chrome, Chrome opens the link in that window and leaves the question behind. The question is already on your clipboard, so paste it. Or right-click the button and open the link in a new tab.

    Does Delilah see my conversation?

    No. Delilah receives only the tool calls Claude makes, never the chat around them.

    Will it call an election?

    Never. It reports official counts and percent reporting only.

    How do I disconnect?

    Remove Delilah under Customize → Connectors in Claude. Nothing is stored on our side.
